What Is the Partnership?
FSN E-Commerce Ventures and BOLD, the corporate venture capital arm of L'Oréal, have entered a strategic collaboration to jointly invest in high-growth Indian beauty and personal care brands. This partnership focuses on acquiring minority stakes in emerging wellness companies that demonstrate strong consumer traction and unique value propositions. A key feature of the arrangement is the preservation of founder independence; entrepreneurs will retain full operational and creative control over their respective teams and brand direction.
By combining purely financial investment with a long-term partnership model, the two entities intend to support local startups in scaling their operations for both domestic and international markets.
Partner Profile
Launched in 2018, BOLD acts as a specialized venture fund targeting the entire beauty value chain. Its parent organization, L'Oréal, is the world's leading beauty player with 2025 sales reaching 44.05 billion euros and a global workforce of 95,000 employees. Through BOLD, L'Oréal offers startups access to a massive global network and dedicated mentorship. This expertise is now being funneled into the Indian ecosystem to identify brands that can meet the evolving needs of an expanding consumer base.
