The renewable energy segment also contributed ₹195 crore to the standalone order book, indicating a successful pivot toward high-growth infrastructure sectors beyond traditional healthcare.

Operational Headwinds and Margin Outlook

Despite the sharp revenue jump, EBITDA margins remained largely flat at 7.67% compared to 7.61% in the previous year. Management attributed this to high volatility in raw material costs, particularly aluminum and steel, which saw prices double within short windows. Additionally, receivables climbed to ₹129 crore, which the company explained as a strategic choice to accept milestone-linked payments on reference projects to displace multinational competitors.

Management expects working capital pressure to ease by March 2027 as project milestones are met and high-margin billing kicks in during the second half of the fiscal year.

Strategic Expansion and Regulatory Tailwinds

  • Operationalized a new Hyderabad plant adding 50,000 square meters of capacity
  • Currently executing a 75,000 square meter cleanroom project, the largest in its history
  • Benefiting from revised Schedule M rules requiring pharmaceutical upgrades in India
  • Leveraging Indian-cell mandates in the solar sector to drive cleanroom demand
  • Aiming to become the largest integrated cleanroom player in India by 2030

What to watch next

  • Consolidation of receivables and working capital relief expected by March 2027
  • Execution of the ₹600 crore hot pipeline identified for H2 FY27
  • Commissioning of advanced automated lines at the Umargam and Hyderabad facilities
  • Impact of raw material cost settling on H2 FY27 EBITDA margins, targeted at 10-12%
