Geographic Segments Drive Topline Momentum
Redington witnessed substantial growth across its primary reporting segments during the quarter. The Singapore, India & South Asia (SISA) region remains the dominant growth engine, with revenue jumping to ₹25,632.10 crore from ₹15,484.07 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The Rest of the World (ROW) segment also showed steady progress, contributing ₹17,328.90 crore to the consolidated topline.
This geographic diversification helped the company scale its operations despite localized macroeconomic volatility. Total income for the quarter reached ₹43,002 crore, supported by a ₹54.6 crore contribution from other income sources.
Exceptional Impairment and Macroeconomic Headwinds
The company’s bottom line for Q2 FY27 was impacted by a non-cash exceptional item amounting to ₹80.33 crore. This impairment was recognized on the trade name of its Turkish subsidiary, Arena Bilgisayar Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S., due to the challenging economic environment and hyperinflationary conditions in Turkey. Consequently, the consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at ₹422 crore.
However, on an adjusted basis excluding this one-time charge, the profit growth remained healthy, reflecting strong operational execution in core trading and distribution activities. The company continues to apply Ind AS 29 for its Turkish operations to manage inflationary reporting.
Expansion and Subsidiary Incorporation
- Incorporated Aladeem Al Ahmar for Computer and Mobile Phone Trading in Iraq as a step-down subsidiary

- Ongoing assessment of Middle East situation indicates no material adverse effects on financial position

Operational Strategy and Long-term Goals
The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Redington Gulf FZE (RGF) carried out an impairment of the trade name classified as an intangible asset arising from its investment in its subsidiary in Turkey, Arena Bilgisayar Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S (Arena).
