What Is the Partnership?
Hexaware Technologies is supporting the Project NANDA Fellowship, a three-month fully remote program designed to solve technical challenges in agentic AI workflows. The collaboration involves building open-source infrastructure that allows autonomous AI agents to discover, verify, and coordinate with one another at scale. The inaugural cohort consists of more than 10 Fellows, including internal Hexaware engineers and external global developers.
These participants contribute directly to Project NANDA's decentralized Internet of AI Agents, receiving competitive stipends and direct mentorship while shipping code that integrates into live, open-source agentic infrastructure rather than isolated classroom exercises.
Partner Profile
Project NANDA is an initiative that originated at the MIT Media Lab, focusing on architecting the foundational protocols for the Open Agentic Web. It is hosted by FAN, the umbrella organization that manages the project's development and open-source community. The project specifically addresses the bottleneck of how billions of AI agents can communicate and execute tasks across organizational boundaries without central vulnerabilities.
By establishing standards for agent discovery and verifiable identity, Project NANDA aims to create a secure, decentralized ecosystem where AI agents can operate autonomously in production environments.
