Digital Connectivity for the Global Traveler

Tata Communications and Air India have introduced EasyRoam to streamline international connectivity for passengers. The service is available as a physical SIM or an eSIM through a dedicated webpage, allowing travelers to activate mobile plans before departure. During the inaugural phase, the SIM itself is provided free of cost, while roaming packs for 30 regions including North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East begin at ₹241.

To encourage adoption, the company is offering up to 1GB of bonus data on certain plans, excluding travel to the Maldives and Mauritius. Travelers can also retain their mobile number for one year at a nominal fee.

This product launch aligns with Tata Communications' broader objective to scale its data business. For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company reported an operating revenue of ₹6,582.82 crore, a 10.45% increase year-on-year, though net profit declined by 29.35% to ₹134.23 crore. Management previously reiterated a long-term target on July 22, 2026, to achieve ₹28,000 crore in data business revenue by FY27.
