Localised Distribution and Support Model
Ramco Systems Limited, through its subsidiary Ramco Systems FZ-LLC, has formalised a partnership with Altron, a prominent South African technology group. This alliance aims to scale the distribution of the Ramco Payce payroll platform across the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement, Altron will lead the commercial engagements, implementation, and front-line support services for enterprise clients through its regional entities, Altron Middle East Technologies LLC and Altron Alarabia Company Limited.
Ramco will maintain its role as the technology provider, offering secure cloud hosting and advanced technical support. The collaboration is designed to provide a streamlined engagement model for Middle Eastern enterprises seeking modern, localised payroll solutions backed by local expertise.
Strategic Alignment With Regional Compliance
The partnership focuses on addressing specific regulatory requirements within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Ramco Payce is built to integrate local mandates such as the Wage Protection System (WPS) in the UAE and the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and Mudad in Saudi Arabia. A critical component of the agreement is the provision of data residency options in Saudi Arabia, which helps enterprises meet strict local data sovereignty laws.
This move follows Ramco's previous strategic steps in the region, including a July 2025 partnership with MCA Management Consultants for GCC-wide payroll transformation, further solidifying its attempt to capture market share in the Middle Eastern IT services sector.
Building on Recent Partnerships
- Signed MoU with Safran Helicopter Engines in September 2026 for engine maintenance data integration
- Partnered with Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) in March 2026 for defence MRO facility software
- Established an ERP Lab with Anna University in March 2026 for hands-on cloud training
- Teamed with Hanjin Information Systems in December 2024 for aviation MRO solutions in Korea
- Collaborated with The ePlane Company in October 2025 for eVTOL aircraft lifecycle management
Meeting Evolving GCC Regulations
Payroll regulations in the Gulf continue to evolve, and each change should be absorbed into the pay cycle rather than turned into a separate IT exercise. Ramco Payce is built to do that, and with Altron’s local expertise, companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia are better placed to stay ahead of what comes next.
