Capri Global Capital Outlines ₹4,000 Crore Capital Strategy

Capri Global Capital Limited has received board approval to mobilize capital up to ₹4,000 crore, utilizing a broad spectrum of financial instruments. The company intends to issue equity shares, debt securities, warrants, and foreign currency convertible bonds through several permissible routes, including qualified institutions placements and rights issues. The specific pricing and timing for each tranche will be determined by the board or a designated committee once shareholder and regulatory approvals are secured.

Recent Capital Raising and Liquidity Milestones

The current ₹4,000 crore proposal follows a series of strategic capital moves by Capri Global throughout 2026. On October 13, 2026, the company successfully completed a private placement of Series 18 Subordinated Unsecured NCDs worth ₹160 crore. Earlier in September, it issued USD 300 million in Senior Secured Notes under a USD 1 Billion Global Medium Term Note programme.

To accommodate this scale of expansion, the company had already enhanced its aggregate borrowing limits from ₹25,000 crore to ₹35,000 crore in April 2026. These efforts align with management guidance to scale the franchise AUM beyond ₹1,25,000 crore by the financial year 2031.
